The exercise with the Theme: ‘ONLY ONE EARTH’ was to celebrate the World Environment Day, June 5th. African Cleanup Initiative Edo state volunteers were fully present. The exercise is was a 2 day event. The first day was for sensitization walk, dirt picking and tree planting, which began at 11am. The walk started with picking of waste from the Ministry of Environment downwards to 3rd Junction, where we educated the market traders and passersby on living and trading in a Clean Environment.

The exercise ended at about 1:30pm and the closing remark was done by the Commissioner of Edo state on Environment matters.
