The Menstrual Hygiene Sensitization at the Aguda Junior Grammar School was to commemorate the Children’s day and the Menstrual Hygiene Day. African Cleanup Initiative’s Sabimidwife, Mrs Eunice Akhigbe educated the females on menstrual hygiene and moral values. The discussion was a very interactive, simplified yet, detailed discussion with the female students eagerly taking notes, responding to and asking questions.
The event ended as a success, a big thank you from the School staff and the students and also with a request that a passion like programme be organized and held for the male students, especially those who were witnesses to our visit to the school the last time and today and have been clamouring for a programme as this.
About 60 students were in attendance.
