As September begins, the African Cleanup Initiative (ACI) celebrates another month of environmental action, collaboration and our shared commitment to raising environmentally sustainable citizens.
As we journey through September, we remain grateful for the relationship we share with you. We deeply value your support, partnership and commitment to the sustainability movement, and we look forward to achieving even greater impact together.
The new month also provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress we have made so far in 2026, appreciate the individuals and organisations supporting our work, and look ahead to opportunities to do even more.
We are particularly grateful for the success of the African Sustainability & Circular Economy Summit (ASCES) 2026, held on 21st–22nd August 2026 at Hotel Mavilla, Cotonou, Republic of Benin. The Summit reinforced the importance of collaboration in driving sustainable development across Africa.
For ACI, the message is clear: sustainable transformation cannot be achieved in isolation. It requires individuals, communities, businesses, organisations and other stakeholders to come together, collaborate and turn ideas into action.
It is on this premise that we invite you to join us for our upcoming National Cleanup Day 2026 — a nationwide movement towards a cleaner, healthier and greener Nigeria.
