The exercise which held at Abia Line Park on the above mentioned date was part of the campaigns by ACI towards proper waste management and environmental sanitation. Abia Line Park was chosen for the exercise due to its strategic location and daily traffic which is usually heavy . The awareness creation was the last field activity for Abia Team.

Volunteers in attendance taught and encouraged drivers and commuters alike to manage their wastes, especially plastic wastes properly in order to preserve the environment and protect human life.
Over 100 stickers and flyers were shared to drivers and travellers including members of the management team of the Park.

 
The campaign which lasted for about 1 hour 15 minutes ended around 11:00am. It established a good relationship between ACI Abia Team and managers of the park. It also achieved it’s objective of reaching out to many people with environmental protection message.
